{"id":144,"date":"2025-02-05T20:44:23","date_gmt":"2025-02-05T20:44:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/elitetalentexpert.net\/?post_type=jobpost&#038;p=144"},"modified":"2025-02-05T20:56:34","modified_gmt":"2025-02-05T20:56:34","slug":"landscape-superintendent","status":"publish","type":"jobpost","link":"https:\/\/elitetalentexpert.net\/index.php\/jobs\/landscape-superintendent\/","title":{"rendered":"Landscape Superintendent"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Landscape leading contractor is seeking to hire a Landscape Superintendent, the job will be located in Rancho Cordova, CA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>GENERAL DUTIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinates field staffing for all projects including recruitment, selection, and hiring activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Studies and understands plans for each project under construction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attends all pre-job walks and multi-weekly visits to each job site.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Verifies correct installation and adherence to the plans and specifications at each project.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Completes timely and accurate written documentation of extras and collection of all approved paperwork.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitors job cost reports weekly, and proactively corrects errors in accounting practices, purchasing issues, and or management of labor time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Completes projects on time and under budget.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establishes positive relationships and maintains ongoing communication with clients and LDI management\/departments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>LEADERSHIP &amp; MANAGEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Implements and exceeds current company policy, systems and procedures of all Field Operations, Safety, Quality Control, and Technical Training Programs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adheres to and embraces LDI\u2019s company doctrine, values and mission statement and also ensure his\/her direct reports do the same.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oversees proper and efficient use of equipment and tools in the field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conducts bi-weekly Foreman meetings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Trains and evaluates assigned Foremen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensures that all new employees are trained on proper LDI policies and procedures, company culture, and proper project management practices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conducts all transactions in compliance with all LDI company policies, procedures, standards and practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SAFETY:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Ensures that all LDI safety policies and OSHA regulations are met, and high levels of productivity and quality are performed at all times.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Immediately reports any employee injuries to Human Resources and\/or Safety Officer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enforcement of all field employees to wear appropriate uniform and PPE\u2019s for job functions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SKILLS\/ABILITIES \u2013 ABILITY TO:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays and evenings, as required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to read, interpret, and follow construction plans.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to understand and carry out instructions and to complete work assignments correctly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors and other employees.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Speak English\/Spanish.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>EDUCATION\/EXPERIENCE\/LICENSES\/CERTIFICATIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>10+ years of commercial landscape construction related experience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Valid Driver\u2019s License<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrated leadership\/management experience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PW Experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WORK ENVIRONMENT\/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Work in\/or about situations near direct automotive traffic<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks x 5 days\/week (some overtime\/weekend work required)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work in extreme conditions \u2013 temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>COMPENSATION:<\/strong> $81,000 &#8211; $90,000<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Landscape leading contractor is seeking to hire a Landscape Superintendent, the job will be located in Rancho Cordova, CA.
