GENERAL DUTIES:
- Coordinates field staffing for all projects including recruitment, selection, and hiring activities.
- Studies and understands plans for each project under construction.
- Attends all pre-job walks and multi-weekly visits to each job site.
- Verifies correct installation and adherence to the plans and specifications at each project.
- Completes timely and accurate written documentation of extras and collection of all approved paperwork.
- Monitors job cost reports weekly, and proactively corrects errors in accounting practices, purchasing issues, and or management of labor time.
- Completes projects on time and under budget.

As Electrical Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the project and managing the on-site construction team. This candidate must ensure orderliness on-site, compliance with safety regulations, adherence to quality standards, and timely availability of equipment and materials on site. This candidate will also aide in coordinating inspection authorities as necessary to obtain approvals. You will liaise with inspection authorities regarding approvals.
The client is looking to hire one Federal Electrical Superintendent for an ongoing project at MacDill AFB in Florida. The candidate MUST have experience working on Federal property and able to pass a background check/security clearance. Procore experience is a highly desirable. This position will likely include travel to other sites / projects once this one has concluded in two years.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
• Lead and manage the on-site construction team.
